Manufacturing at Matsuyama Yushi cannot be accomplished by a single person. All staff members are aware of the importance of communicating and helping each other. As one of our related efforts, we are also promoting the employment of people with disabilities. The main duties of the Fuji-Kokuroku Laboratory are to prepare for production, assist in manufacturing, and assist in logistics shipping.
In preparation for production, we carefully place the seals one by one in the designated positions. Production assistance involves cleaning the pipes used to make the soap and arranging the soap in an orderly fashion to dry it out. Logistics shipping assistance is restocking the shelves multiple times a day with products for shipment. In every job, we live by the strength of our personalities, which is the ability to concentrate in the repetition of the same actions. That’s why there is no difference in pay between you and the rest of the staff, and you start on the same terms.
The Fuji-Kawaguchiko Laboratory is located on the second floor of the Yamanashi Logistics Center, which was built in January 2019 to accommodate the expansion of the Fuji-Kawaguchiko plant. There are about 40 logistics and shipping staff working in the same building, so we can all support each other. For example, staff with disabilities cannot commute to work alone because of the lack of public transportation to Fuji-Kokuroku Laboratory. We had many discussions with their families about how to make their commute safer. At present, the company car picks them up and drops them off every day from Fujiyoshida Station, which is in the center of Fujiyoshida City next to Fujikawaguchiko Town. The staff of the distribution center, who wanted to be of help, began to serve as a daily driver.
Staff can work with a smile while recognizing each other’s strengths and compensating for each other’s weaknesses. Help each other achieve what they cannot do alone. The company grows with the growth of its staff. Matsuyama Yushi hopes to be such a company. And we want to help all staff members to achieve physical and mental health and enrich their daily lives.
