Corporate philosophy
-
Matsuyama was founded in 1908 and began the planning, development, production and sale of soap in 1946 and skincare products in 1997. Most of our daily products are used within Japan, but we offer high-value-added products to the international market as part of our effort to become a small leading company that “”encourages daily wellness in Japan and throughout the world.””
Our concept of daily wellness focuses on “”encouraging healthy minds and bodies and enriching daily lives.”” Our manufacturing activities bring together Matsuyama as the maker, our customers as the users, and our partners and communities in ongoing development that “”encourages health and abundance in the global environment.””
We too must be well if we are to turn our ideals into reality. As both manufacturers and consumers, we continue to ask ourselves what constitutes “”encouraging healthy minds and bodies and enriching daily lives.”” We promise to do what we can to address the many social issues that confront us. That is why Matsuyama encourages and assists the growth and development of its staff and works to increase its enterprise value, focusing on earning the trust and gratitude of others and working together with our partners to innovate and create new values.
We will continue our efforts to become a company that “”encourages daily wellness in Japan and throughout the world.
